How your custom oil painting order works

1. Choose your format. Select the canvas size and frame option that fits your room, gift plan, or memorial display.
2. Place the order. Complete checkout, then email your reference photo and order number to service@realoilart.com.
3. Studio review. We check photo clarity, faces, pets, background, color, and composition before the artist begins.
4. Hand painting. An artist paints the portrait in oil on canvas, not as a digital filter or machine print.
5. Packing and delivery. The finished painting is packed carefully and shipped with tracking where carrier service is available.

What photos work best?

The best reference photo is the clearest original image you have. Good light, visible eyes or facial details, and a natural expression help the artist preserve the feeling of the subject. Avoid screenshots, heavy filters, and compressed social-media images when possible. If the photo is old or low resolution, send it anyway and tell us which details matter most.
