Before turning to easel painting, Shen Lanqing worked in spatial color design. Across approximately fourteen years of practice, she has developed a quiet visual language of softened gray tones, distant mountains, and reflective water. Thin passages of color meet selective impasto, giving her Eastern landscapes a calm and spacious presence.

Adrian Vale first worked on stage scenery and hand-painted theatrical backdrops before focusing on coastal oil painting. Over approximately seventeen years, he has returned to overcast shores, rock formations, and shifting natural light. Tonal realism and palette-knife passages give his seascapes their weathered, tactile character.

Amara Bell moved from textile pattern and color design into oil painting approximately thirteen years ago. She breaks botanical silhouettes into free blocks of color, then builds rhythm through layering, scraping, and impasto. The result is an expressive practice that feels both organic and deliberately composed.

Before committing to oil painting, Naoto Morikawa worked with hand bookbinding and architectural sketching. Across approximately eighteen years of sustained practice, he has focused on old houses, narrow lanes, and quiet interiors. Restrained color and close observation allow traces of time to remain visible in each scene.

Claire Voss came to oil painting through botanical illustration and textile color work. Over approximately nineteen years, she has focused on garden flowers, natural side light, and the changing colors of the seasons. Irregular palette-knife marks and visible handwork keep her floral still lifes immediate and alive.

Mateo Serrán has spent approximately twenty-one years painting country roads, olive groves, and hillsides. Working with broad brushes and palette knives, he uses warm expressive color and thick surfaces to convey the weight of the land and the changing light of evening.
