Emerald Reading Hour Oil Painting

Emerald Reading Hour — A woman in a black dress reads a red book in a green armchair. Red shoes, an uneven stack of books and a tall pale lamp complete the quiet olive-walled interior. This oil painting on canvas is hand-painted to order in your chosen size and framing option.

Rolled-Canvas ships unstretched in a protective tube. Frameless Stretch is stretched over a hidden wooden inner frame with no outer decorative frame. Frame options include the stretch plus the selected outer floating frame.

Select a finish above to update the product and price. Screen color and wood grain can vary slightly. Hanging hardware is not included unless the product page states otherwise.

Free worldwide shipping. Import duties and import taxes included.

Each work is painted by hand in oil on canvas. The artist builds color, brushwork, and surface texture by eye, so small variations are part of the handmade finish. Your finished painting may differ slightly from screen colors and product photography.

Choose the exact size and frame finish from the selectors above. Measure your wall and nearby furniture before ordering. Please contact us as soon as possible if your painting arrives damaged. We recommend sending your order number and clear photos of the artwork and packaging within 7 days of delivery to help preserve evidence for the carrier. This recommendation does not shorten the applicable 30-day return-request period or your statutory rights.

After receiving and inspecting an approved return, we notify you of the result. If approved, we process the refund to the original payment method within 3 business days. Your bank or card provider may require an additional 7–15 business days to post the credit.
