Prairie Keepsake Oil Painting

Prairie Keepsake brings two cowgirls and their saddled horses together in warm sepia, cream and deep brown. Broad hats, braided hair and fringed clothing stand out against a low stone wall, while carefully modeled reins and leather tack give the scene its quiet detail. Both women stand beside their horses, preserving the composed, nostalgic character of the Western group. This landscape oil painting suits a study, entryway or living room with wood, leather and warm neutral fabrics. Hand-painted to order in oils on canvas, it is offered in the sizes and framing options shown; individual brushwork and texture vary naturally.

Rolled-Canvas ships unstretched in a protective tube. Frameless Stretch is stretched over a hidden wooden inner frame with no outer decorative frame. Frame options include the stretch plus the selected outer floating frame.

Each work is painted by hand in oil on canvas. The artist builds color, brushwork, and surface texture by eye, so small variations are part of the handmade finish. Your finished painting may differ slightly from screen colors and product photography.
